The new caftans:

The Caftan - A classic and we went green and reduced the yardage requirements. This caftan in any dress length features elbow length sleeves which may be longer to ¾ or full length by adding the “sleeve” extension piece. Click sleeves, and adjust the length as desired. Made in lightweight silks they flow and flit like a butterfly. Make it any length and make it quick to wear tonight. Ideal at home or cruise wear.

The Caftan Blouse is geared for comfort- and fast to make. Ideal in Cotton/Rayons/Silkies or make it in a woolen to toss on for quick trips outdoors.

The Caftan Shrug can be worn in lieu of a sweater at the office in a stretch knit, or dressed up in a devore Velvet for evening wear. Let your imagination out.

The Caftanesque Robe - Need a robe?  This one is so fast to make that you can make several for gifts in one day. Use French terry, or velour’s in cool climates, cottons or satins –you can add embellishments to dress it up. The full tie belt wraps right around you.

New Necklines:

The Floppy Turtleneck  is a fitted stretch top with  long sleeves and nice large turtleneck that flops and drapes for a touch of elegance. The neck is more open than a classic turtleneck. Worn with slacks or skirts- this will go anywhere. Like stretch sweater tops a little loose select semi fit and adjust the stretch from 12% to 8%.

The Jersey Mock Turtleneck Shell - So versatile- make it long sleeve as designed or make it sleeveless in a black slinky jersey or any sleeve length you prefer. Designed as a moderate Stretch Knit with 12% stretch factor, you can loosen it right up to semi fitted if desired with 8% stretch. The mock turtle is a high stand or band collar that’s not as wide as a true turtleneck and the base of the neck is closer fitting that a floppy turtleneck. Ideal for at home or office, wear it anywhere.

The Fall 2010 Collection also includes a new pleated neckline that has vertical pleats and is quick and easy to make up.

The Pleated Neck Nightgown defaults to just below the knee but can be made any length. It is sleeveless to wear all year long. I hand dyed some stretch silk charmeuse to go with the devore satin bed jacket for the most elegant peignoir set I ever dreamed of. Make it in cotton, lingerie fabrics from batiste to flannel for an uber-comfortable nightie.

The Pleated Neck Tee - Goes anywhere and is a little dressier than just a tee shirt, has 3 vertical pleats you can stitch down or leave as release tucks and its designed long sleeve but you can change to any sleeve length. It is a standard fit with 8% horizontal stretch so while fitted, its not too close.

The Ballerina Princess is a fitted long sleeve armhole princess style that’s standard fit and may be worn with the optional belt. The Ballerina neckline is perfect for showcasing jewelry or a wonderful silk scarf. The pattern is made for a woven lightweight wool or rayon or blend.

The Bed Jacket can be so much more. Made up in a devore, satin or minky, it’s ideal to wear at home for reading in bed but with a touch of class. Make it in fabulous black velvet, line it and add sparkly crystals to wear out over an evening dress for New Years Eve.

The Boy Friend Shirt has classic shirt styling with a classic yoke, long cuffed sleeves, chevron pocket and shirt tail hem. You can make it longer by adding up to 5 inches to the length or looser fitting by changing the fit from semi-fitted to relaxed fit.

The Fold Over Track Pant - this is as loose and casual as can be. The fold-over waist and Capri length are perfect for a weekend reading in bed or doing your morning exercises.

The Fold Over Waistband Skirt - has to be made from stretch fabrics- casual skirt is ideal for teens and ‘tweens.

The Keyhole Party Dress is a classic for the holidays. Made in a fine satin, stretch velvet or dupioni its sure to wow with its fitted sheath lines and keyhole opening at the neck.

The Long Knit Cardigan - I’m in love with this wide gently pointed wing collar that tends to drape when its not heavily interfaced. In fact if you have a double sided knit you can simply finish the edge and not face it. Worn with a belt this mid thigh sweater knit or stretch velour can go anywhere.

The One Shoulder Part Dress is a fitted 1 shoulder dress ready to accept bling. I see it in a midnight blue with silver crystals sprinkled on the fitted bodice. Great for Holiday parties or clubbing with a shorter skirt or make it full length and add a rectangular velvet or faux fur shawl for “The” winter wedding.
